Shandong Jibao Electric Co., Ltd., as a high-end equipment research and manufacturing enterprise, is a national high-tech enterprise, a leading enterprise in high-end instrumentation in Shandong Province, a "hidden champion" in Shandong Province, and a gazelle enterprise. The company has two independent research and development institutions: Zibo Jibao Transformer Research Institute and Zibo Bofeite Electric Power Technology Software Co., Ltd. It is committed to the design of power transformation and distribution engineering, as well as the manufacturing, installation, testing, operation, and maintenance of electrical equipment, implementing "turnkey" projects. The leading products include transformers, sensors, high and low voltage switchgear, box-type substations, intelligent high-voltage switches, high-voltage energy meters, high-voltage energy metering standard devices, high-voltage energy data transmission terminals, etc.

The company has implemented a strategy of combining standards with patents and has made significant progress. As of now, it has applied for 80 national patents and owns 75 granted patents, including 21 invention patents, 45 utility model patents, 2 design patents, and 12 software copyrights. Five invention patents are currently under substantive examination. All have been converted into commodities, becoming important means to avoid unfair competition and capture market share. 

As the main drafting unit, the company has participated in the formulation of 10 national, industry, and local standards. Among them, it led the drafting of 1 national standard, GB/T37968-2019 "Testing device for high-voltage electricity metering equipment", and participated as the main drafting unit in the formulation of 2 national standards, GB/T 32856-2016 " General specifications for high-voltage electrical energy meters" and GB/T 17215.304-2017 " Electricity metering equipment (a.c.)—Particular requirements—Part 4: Static meters connected via electronic transformer", and 2 local standards of Shandong Province, "High-voltage electrical energy meters" and "High-voltage electrical energy meter verification regulations". It is also participating in the formulation of 5 national and industry standards. With the approval of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) TC13 Secretariat, it is leading the formulation of 1 international standard, which is currently in the preparatory stage of the working group. All these technologies are projects with independent intellectual property rights owned by our company. 

For eight consecutive years, the company has applied for and been granted new patents each year, with new products launched annually. These products are all online and operational, suitable for market demands, forming the following industrial advantages:

New products in trial operation and ready for mass market entry: Ring network cabinet intelligent metering terminal, high-voltage power line insulation abnormal monitoring and positioning system, high-voltage cable insulation abnormal monitoring and positioning system, SMCG cable bracket, over-line casing, on-site calibration instrument for energy metering accuracy, magnetic balance harmonic elimination device, flexible switching and alternating operation energy-saving device, intelligent transformer, etc. 
Products with domestic advancement and industry leadership: (S13-M.RL, S14-M.RL, SCB11-RL) Level 1 and Level 2 energy-saving three-dimensional wound core transformers, open-type line loss detection device, intelligent box-type substation, full series of voltage and current transformers for 35kV and below. 
Products with technological advantages that can quickly drive peripheral development: High and low voltage switchgear, box-type substations, complete sets of distribution network equipment.
